PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a claw pole type motor achieving cost reduction without deteriorating torque even when a ferrite magnet is used for a permanent magnet of a rotor. SOLUTION: A circular rotor 16 having an outer circumference separated with an air gap G1 from a stator 13 and an inner circumference fixed to a rotating shaft 14 includes: a first claw pole core 21 and a second claw pole core 22 having roots spaced and fixed directly to the rotating shaft 14 or via a non-magnetic bushing 20, and claw portions of the outer circumferential side of the rotor 16 bent and alternately arranged in the outer circumferential direction; a non-polarity claw pole core 23 disposed between the first claw pole core 21 and the second claw pole core 22 and magnetically spaced on the outer circumferential side; and an annular permanent magnet 25 fitted and fixed to an annular cavity surrounded by the first and second claw pole cores 21, 22 and the non-polarity claw pole core 23.
