PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agglomerated particle having a structure enough to fulfill such a request that a particle is obtained which has only a definite crystal plane appeared on the surface thereof. SOLUTION: The agglomerated particle has the whole surface being the C planes of granular crystals each having only the definite crystal plane appeared on the surface thereof, has a spherical shape, includes the granular crystals each having a wedge shape, and is characterized in that the granular crystals are agglomerated while directing the sharp tips thereof toward the center of the spherical shape and each of the granular crystals is crystalline zinc oxide.
