PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medical equipment including a fixing part which is excellent in responsiveness when expanded/contracted and has large contact area with a body wall. SOLUTION: The medical equipment 1 has an insertion part 2 inserted in a body cavity and a fixing unit 3 which is provided in the insertion part 2 and fixes the insertion part 2 to the body cavity by being abutted on the body cavity wall. The fixing unit 3 has: a diameter expansion part 4 for expanding a diameter in the peripheral direction of the insertion part 2 by joining a plurality of cut pieces 6 together in a circular shape; and a transmission part 5 joined to the diameter expansion part 4 so as to transmit drive force for expanding the diameter to the diameter expansion part 4.
