<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a conventional gas appliance wherein a cylindrical member of a joint member must be slid when removing the joint member in the state of being connected to a plug unit and it is possible to surely prevent fitting of a hose stopper but it is necessary to hook a finger on the cylindrical member, over an opening provided on a side surface of the cover member, and workability is thereby remarkably bad, and it is necessary to provide a plurality of openings in the cover member, and strength of the cover member itself is lowered as area of the opening is increased to enhance work efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A cover member 2 is movably fitted so that a cylindrical member 41 is exposed when removing a joint member 4.
