PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify which functions configuring the processing exceeds the execution limit time when the program processing to be performed in transition between states exceeds the execution limit time, and to make a user visually recognize the specified function. SOLUTION: The program design supporting apparatus 1 subdivides the program processing to be performed in transition between states and displays them at a display part 20 for respective functions. Then, a bottleneck detection condition setting part 130 makes a threshold be set as the execution limit time of each function. Then, by detecting the actual measurement value of the processing time for each function, a bottleneck detection part 150 compares the actual measurement value and the threshold, and a display control part 160 visually changes a display form and displays the function whose actual measurement value exceeds the threshold.
