<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens which is constituted by previously incorporating respective elements such as a polarizer and a quarter-wave plate necessary for extremely low magnification observation, thereby capable of switching observation from a very low magnification to a high magnification by only making a revolver revolve, and to provide a microscope device which includes the lens. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The objective lens 10 includes a depolarizer 11, the polarizer 12, a plurality of lens groups 13, and a qaurter-wave plate 14, which are arranged in order from a light source side.
