PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a mechanism and accurately discharge a soil fluid by devising a method for pumping crushed soil. SOLUTION: This toilet apparatus includes a crushing device 2 for crushing the soil together with flushing water, and a pumping tank 3 into which the soil fluid crushed by the crushing device 2 flows and which can be filled with compressed air. This constitution enables the separation of a crushing mechanism for crushing and fluidizing the soil and a mechanism for pumping the soil fluid, and enables each mechanism to be specialized for crushing or pumping treatment.
