PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve weight saving and also improve concentricity of each of bearing holes 4a, 4b for supporting cam journals 2a, 3a of camshafts 2, 3, in a structure rotatively supporting the camshafts 2, 3 of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: Many supporting bases 4 formed with the bearing holes 4a, 4b into which many cam journals 2a, 3a of the camshafts 2, 3 are individually rotatively inserted are individually attached to a cylinder head 1. The supporting bases 4 are formed in such a manner that they are adjacently juxtaposed and coupled to each other, and also formed in such a manner that they are separated one by one after the bearing holes 4a, 4b are finished with the supporting bases coupled to each other.
