PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to reduce the vibration of the valve unit and the intermittent noises generated in the machine room. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator(1) comprises a cabinet(10), a plurality of evaporators, a machine room(11), a defrost water tray(200), a valve unit(600), and a damping element. The cabinet has a storage space in which food stuffs are kept at low temperature. The evaporators generate cold air provided to the storage space. The machine room is provided on one side of the cabinet. The defrost water tray is accommodated in the machine room and collects defrost water. The valve unit is installed in the defrost water tray and selectively supplies refrigerant to the evaporators. The damping element is provided between the defrost water tray and the valve unit to absorb the vibration of the valve unit. |
