摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave lens with a short focal distance, which miniaturizes an electric wave lens antenna. SOLUTION: The electric wave lens 1 constituting a hybrid lens antenna 2 is constituted of multiple metallic flat plates 10 to be arranged by lamination at prescribed intervals. The metallic flat plates 10 are arranged parallel to the propagation direction of electric waves to be emitted from a wave source O<SB>1</SB>. Dielectric bodies 20 are arranged in a part (gap part) formed between the adjacent metallic flat plates 10. The thickness of each dielectric body 20 is adjusted in response to the arrangement position of the dielectric body 20. Thus, the speed of the electric waves passing the gap part is controlled, the phases of the electric waves to be emitted from the electric wave lens 1 are uniformed, and plane waves are emitted. Besides, the speed of the electric waves is controlled by arranging the dielectric bodies 20, thereby manufacturing the hybrid lens antenna 2 with a short distance between the wave source O<SB>1</SB>and the electric wave lens 1.
