PURPOSE: A rechargable battery is provided to prevent the rotating of an electrode terminal, and to ease a coupling process of the electrode terminal by inserting a gasket in between the electrode terminal and terminal holes. CONSTITUTION: A rechargable battery(100) comprises the following: a case(20) including an electrode assembly(10); a cap plate combined to an opening of the case to seal the case; a first insulator(70) combined to the outside of the cap plate; an electrode terminal(40) electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and combined to first and second terminal holes formed on the cap plate and the first insulator; a first connection unit(31) combining the cap plate and the first insulator; and a second connection unit(32) combining the first insulator and the electrode terminal.
