The tank (100) has a hollow body (102) containing water filtration units, and a downstream connection interface (116) traversing an upper wall of the body. An upstream pit (108) is extended above the body, and a by-pass pipe (114) is placed outside and above the body. The upstream pit comprises an intake connection interface (110) and an intermediate interface connection (112) that allows the downstream connection of one of two ends of the by-pass pipe. The downstream connection interface is fixed at the by-pass pipe near another end for receiving an outlet pipe by which water is evacuated.
