Provided is a method for manufacturing an organic EL panel which enables a reduction in the number of manufacturing process steps and an increase in yield. A method for manufacturing an organic EL panel which uses an organic EL element as a light-emitting pixel comprises an organic EL element formation step of forming an organic EL element by stacking a lower electrode, an organic EL layer, and an upper electrode in sequence on a substrate, a protective film formation step of forming a protective film containing a hot-melt material with a melting point between 60°C and 150°C on the upper electrode, and a dispersion step of crushing part of the upper electrode into fragments by applying laser light in a dot shape to the upper electrode or the vicinity thereof in a melting condition in which the protective film is heated and solidifying the protective film by disposing the fragments of the upper electrode into the protective film. |
