The machine has a scanning probe (8) arranged at a transversal arm (6a) of a pantograph for scanning a pattern, and a milling unit (9) arranged at another transversal arm (6b) for processing a work piece. A pattern frame (12) and a work piece frame (13) are respectively provided for holding the pattern and the work piece. The pattern and work piece frames are supported at a workplate (10) about transverse axes and coupled with one another such that rotation of the frames takes place about transverse axes in a synchronous manner. The frames are rotated around 360 degrees.
