The assembly has contact pins (14), and connection cables (26) with a terminal (29) at free ends, where the terminal is connected with the contact pins of a lighter (12). The lighter is fastened to a holder (16) that defies an interface chamber (24). The contact pins of lighter project into the interface chamber, and the connection cables are connected with the contact pins in the interface chamber. An additional earth wire (30) contacts the holder, where the interface chamber is filled with a sealing compound (34) that surrounds and positions the terminal and the earth wire. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pyrotechnic lighter assembly.
