The belt strap has a fiber which consists of warp thread (1) and filling thread (2). The fiber has an interloop with webs (3) extended in transverse direction of the belt strap. The web is arranged parallely to each other in longitudinal direction of the belt strap. The filling thread is a monofilament fiber and multi filament fiber. The warp thread is used as single yarn made of 2200 decitex polyester filament yarn. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing the belt strap for a safety belt and technical belt.
