Control- and regulating device (9) for ozone emitter with dielectrically impeded discharges, which are acted upon by a high voltage generator (6) with a high voltage in the form of an alternating voltage or a pulsed direct voltage, is claimed. The control- and regulating device are connected with a measuring device (10) for the operating current of the high voltage generator, and the operating current regulates the high voltage generator. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a ozone-emitting device comprising the ozone emitter with dielectrically impeded discharges, the high voltage generator to generate the high voltage in the form of the alternating voltage or pulsed direct voltage for the ozone emitter, and the control- and regulating device for the ozone emitter; and (2) an air conditioner comprising the ozone emitting device.
