A meter pump assembly, in particular for hydrocarbon delivery in a fuel-operated vehicle heating device or a reformer, comprises two delivery units (12, 14), wherein each delivery unit (12, 14) comprises: a delivery chamber (16, 18) having a variable volume, a piezo assembly (24, 26) by which the volume of the delivery chamber (16, 18) can be varied and/or a volume change of the delivery chamber (16, 18) can be sensed, an inflow region (36, 38) which leads to the delivery chamber (16, 18) and has an inlet valve (43, 44), an outflow region (40, 42) which leads away from the delivery chamber (16, 18) and has an outlet valve (46, 48), wherein a first inflow region (36) of a first delivery unit (12) is connected to a second outflow region (42) of a second delivery unit (14), and wherein by electric excitation of the piezo assembly (24, 26) fluid can be conducted by one of the delivery units (12, 14) through the delivery chamber (16, 18) of said delivery unit (12, 14) and the delivery chamber (16, 18) of the other delivery unit (12, 14) and a volume change of the other delivery chamber (16, 18) produced in this way can be sensed by the piezo assembly (24, 26) associated therewith. |
