A wireless communication system comprises mobile stations and a plurality of base stations each of which communicates with a mobile station existing in the cell of the base station by transmitting/receiving radio signals to/from the mobile station. In the wireless communication system, each of the plurality of base stations has a base station side control means that, if a radio signal received from a mobile station with which the base station is communicating includes any interference signals, detects the IP address of a base station that is a transmitting source of the interference signals, the IP address having been established in the interference signals.
