The guide vane (1) has a leading edge (3), an outlet edge (4) and a profile outer contour (5) that is guided from the leading edge to outlet edge. A profile inner contour (6) is guided from the leading edge to the outlet edge. A longitudinal unit line (7) is processed from the leading edge to the outlet edge in center between the profile outer contour and the profile inner contour. The guide vane extends the longitudinal unit line from the leading edge to the outlet edge in a turning point free manner. An independent claim is also included for a turbocharger with a guide vane unit.
