The invention relates to a dental implant (40), and to an assembly including such an implant and a prosthetic element. The implant includes a threaded self-tapping anchoring body (41) lying flat about an axis (42) and rigidly connected to a head (43) for supporting a prosthetic element, the head including a collar (44) with an annular groove (45) on which is mounted a connection end with a frusto-conical lug having a taper converging towards the top of said head. The anchoring body (41) includes a cylindrical apical top end segment (48) coupled to a frusto-conical cervical segment (49) for connecting to the head. The collar (44) includes a first convex portion (50) with a toroidal portion shape for joining with the body, as well as a second concave portion (57) forming said annular groove.
