A pneumatic constricting drum brake with seals attached to axially opposite sides of the hub of the rotating drum with wiper portions of the seals rotatably contacting correspondingly located stationary sealing surfaces on the housing for sealing the hub. At least one of the housing sealing surfaces includes a bearing mount.
