The device is provided with a heat exchanger (1) for temperature compensation between a fuel line (2) and a conditioning circuit (3) for circulating a cooling fluid, where the conditioning circuit has an inlet (4) and a return line (5). A control valve (6) is provided in the inlet for regulating the supply, where a differential pressure across the control valve by a differential pressure regulator (7) is adjustable. An independent claim is also included for a method for conditioning of an operating fluid for the operation of a test object on a test bench.
