VEHICLE MOTION CONTROL SYSTEM

A vehicle motion control system (1) is applied to a vehicle (10) capable of towing a trailer (20) and can perform sway suppression control for suppressing sway occurring in the vehicle (10). The vehicle motion control system (1) determines whether or not the vehicle (10) is towing the trailer (20) based on a difference between an actual yaw rate of the vehicle (10) and a reference yaw rate which is calculated from traveling conditions of the vehicle (10). The sway suppression control is performed based on, for example, the result of determination of the towing.
