The invention relates to pure boron carbide (B4C) production method comprising subjecting saccharose (table sugar) to dehydration reaction with the sulphuric acid in the presence of boric acid, obtaining the precursor (12C+48B) comprising carbon and boron as a result of the said dehydration reaction, subjecting the obtained precursor to the heat treatment at a temperature between 14000C and 16000C.
