The extruder has a central spindle including a tooth system combed with a tooth system of planetary gear spindles (10). The gear spindles are combed with each other with an inner tooth system of a planetary gear extruder section housing (5) such that the gear spindles run around the central spindle, and an input material is processed between the tooth systems and conveyed in a longitudinal direction of the extruder. One gear spindle extends over the extruder section housing. Length of a planetary gear spindle piece is five times of pitch diameter of a tooth system of the piece. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing a planetary gear extruder.
