<p>A plunger type laminar flow cooling device consists of multiple groups of spraying units, each group comprises: a collecting pipe (1) fixed along the direction perpendicular to the steel strip running direction; a water inlet pipe (2) provided on and in communication with the collecting pipe (1); multiple ejecting pipes (3) which are in communication with the collecting pipe (1) and uniformly arranged on the collecting pipe (1) along its axis; two plungers (5), which are respectively positioned inside the two ends of the collecting pipe (1); a driving unit, which is connected to the two plungers (5), and drives the two plungers (5) moving toward or opposite inside the collecting pipe (1). According to the cooling needs of the different width of the steel strips, the device can adjust the cooling water region in the passage width direction, to achieve corresponding varying of the laminar flow cooling on the width, and avoid wastage of the cooling water resource.</p> |
