The present invention relates to an apparatus for collecting waste fluorescent lamps and light-emitting diode lamps, which collects noxious gas generated while crushing waste fluorescent lamps or light-emitting diode lamps to prevent the noxious gas from being discharged to the atmosphere, and which separately collects glass and metal from the crushed lamps for recycling. The apparatus for collecting waste fluorescent lamps and light-emitting diode lamps according to the present invention comprises: a main body having an accommodation chamber with an inlet for inserting waste fluorescent lamps therethrough and a plurality of outlets for discharging crushed waste fluorescent lamps; a door mounted on the main body to open/shut the inlet; a screw which is rotatably installed in the accommodation chamber and has a shaft, onto the outer surface of which a blade is fixed into a spiral form to crush and separate waste fluorescent lamps; an air-regulating unit which evacuates air from the accommodation chamber prior to crushing the waste fluorescent lamps to put the accommodation chamber under vacuum, and which supplies a small amount of air to the accommodation chamber while crushing the waste fluorescent lamps; and a plurality of collection units installed at the respective outlets to collect glass, metal, and gas from the crushed waste fluorescent lamps when the outlets are opened in accordance with the signal output by a control unit. |
