摘要 Disclosed is a novel method for separating hexafluoropropylene oxide (HFPO) from hexafluoropropylene (HFP), which is capable of reducing the burden on the environment. Specifically, a mixture containing HFPO and HFP is subjected to an extractive distillation process using at least one fluorine-containing saturated compound that is represented by the following general formula: CnHaFb (wherein n, a and b each represents an integer satisfying n = 3-8, 0 = a = 2n + 1, and 1 = b = 2n + 2) as a solvent, thereby being separated into a first fraction containing HFPO and a second fraction containing HFP and the solvent. As the solvent, either 1-bromopropane and/or 2-bromopropane can be used in place of the fluorine-containing saturated compound.
