<p>An electronic document encryption device comprises an operation part for editing an electronic document expressed as electronic data, and a processing part for setting a concealing region for concealing a character string or an object included in at least part of the electronic document. The processing part realizes a function of setting a region on the electronic document input via the operation part as the concealing region and storing a table, in which the position and the size of the concealing region in the document are recorded, into a predetermined region of the document, a function of encrypting the character string or the object included in the concealing region, a function of acquiring the position of the character string or the object inserted or deleted by edition if the document is edited after the concealing region is set, and a function of correcting the position of the concealing region according to a shift of the string or the object to be concealed when the position thereof varies based on a relation between the mentioned position and the position of the concealing region and recording the corrected position of the concealing region in the table.</p> |
