The appliance has interior space lockable by a door or a flap for receiving chilled or frozen goods. A bottom storage shelf implemented as rust is arranged for storage compartment of bottles in the interior space, where the bottom storage shelf has slats. A retaining element (10) is connected with the rust, and comprises upper and lower sections (12, 14). Projections are implemented as bars. The slats of the rust extend to the retaining element installed on the bottom storage shelf transverse to longitudinal direction.
