发明名称 Tube à rayons x
摘要 803,165. X-ray tubes. MAX-PLANCKGESELLSCHAFT ZUR FORDERUNG DER WISSENSCHAFTEN e.V. May 24, 1955 [May 24, 1954; May 4, 1955, (2)], No. 14928/55. Class 39(1). A hollow anode which forms part of the envelope of an X-ray tube and which is itself pervious to X-rays can rotate with respect to the remainder of the envelope, the two envelope parts being connected by a gas-tight joint. In Fig. 4 the anode is in the form of a diaphragm 13 secured to a part-spherical section 11. This rotates in a packing collar 6 inside the main part of the envelope carrying the cathode 4. As shown, an outer casing may be provided through which a cooling liquid is circulated, as at 16, vacuum pump oils having a suitably low vapour pressure. The diaphragm may be supported at its centre against atmospheric pressure. Fig. 5 shows the same arrangement in more detail. The anode diaphragm is demountably secured to the end of the anode support structure 121, 122, itself composed of demountable sections, by an arrangement of clamping and sealing rings, Fig. 6 (not shown). The anode support cylinder 111 revolves in bearings 201, 202 in the main casing structure 214. This is joined to the upper casing by a part 74, which connects to a pump through a socket 73. The vacuum is maintained by packing joints 61 (which may be liquid-cooled) round the rotating cylinder 111. Only a narrow gap exists between the upper end of this cylinder and a stationary partition 71, forming a vacuum resistance in case of any slight air leakage at joint 61. The upper end of the apparatus comprises an oil-filled casing 82 containing the upper end of the cathode 4 and the high voltage connections thereto. Limited movement of the cathode is allowed by a tubular bellows 88 and also three centring rods, as at 85-86. The lower part 180, 181 of the casing surrounds the anode to form a cooling jacket and is closed by a diaphragm 15 corresponding to anode diaphragm 3. A structure passing through both diaphragms in a vacuum-tight manner terminates in a member 195 which supports diaphragm 3 against atmospheric pressure. Adjusting nuts on this structure enable the distance between the two diaphragms to be varied. As well as the anode, the outer casing is demountable in several sections, which bolt together round sealing rings. In a modification, Figs. 1 and 3 (not shown), the window-anode is part of a cylindrical rotating wall. If an outer cooling jacket is provided, the flow of cooling liquid can be utilized to drive the rotating anode by means of turbine blades.
