A clamping system exerts a radial force to secure the component to the support element. The system comprises a radial clamping device that includes a crown (6) for exerting the radial force. A concentric blind recess (8) is spaced apart from the aperture for allowing displacement of the crown. The system comprises a displacement device to provide degrees of freedom to the crown with respect to the support element.
