PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner preventing wasteful rising (overshooting) of a rotational frequency of a drive motor when raising the rotational frequency of the drive motor of a blow fan for preventing overheating of a heating means, or for preventing freezing of condensate in a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, when it is judged that a neighborhood temperature of a heater (an example of the heating means) is an overheating temperature of 65°C or higher (Yes side of S2), until the neighborhood temperature of the heater is 60°C or lower, the rotational frequency of the drive motor is increased 20min<SP>-1</SP>(rpm) every ten seconds. Or, when it is judged that a neighborhood temperature of the heat exchanger is a temperature of 2°C or lower that is near a freezing point (0°C) of freezing water, until the neighborhood temperature of the heat exchanger is 5°C or higher, the rotational frequency of the drive motor is increased 20min<SP>-1</SP>(rpm) every ten seconds.
