Provided are an RFID tag detecting method and an RFID tag detecting system, by which the order of arrangement of the RFID tags attached inside respective hollow cylindrical metal objects can be determined. In the method, detection steps (S1 to S7) and an order-of-arrangement determination step (S8) are performed. In the detection steps, while an RFID reader antenna is being inserted in each of the hollow cylindrical metal objects, the RFID tag is detected every time the RFID reader antenna travels a predetermined distance. In the order-of-arrangement determination step, the order of the RFID tags is determined on the basis of the detected positions of the RFID tags in the detection step. |
