<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start processing of content data based on attribute data in a timing earlier than a conventional timing while using data in which the content data and the attribute data indicating an attribute of the content data are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: After MXF file data FILE are analyzed (traced) by an MXF analysis section 31 and picture data are detected, they are added to image file data IFD in a picture memory 24.
