A wrap for an edible substance (70), comprising a discrete sheet (20) of flexible film, and an adhesive disposed on the flexible film in a pattern (30) that surrounds an adhesive-free space (64) that is sized to accommodate the edible substance (70). The adhesive does not extend to at least one edge (22,24,26,28) of the flexible film. Portions of the adhesive contact other portions of the adhesive such that the discrete sheet (20) encapsulates the edible substance (70), and the discrete sheet (20) is twisted in at least one area that includes the adhesive.
