<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen point replacement type writing instrument capable of solving inconveniences caused by replacement of a pen point, a replacement pen point and a writing instrument set of a pen point replacement type. <P>SOLUTION: The pen point replacement type writing instrument comprises a barrel, an ink occlusion body stored in the barrel and a replaceable pen point to be connected to the ink occlusion body. The length of the pen point inserted into the ink occlusion body after the replacement is longer than before the replacement.
