<p>A saddle tap to be mounted on a resin pipe, includes a saddle (1), a branching barrel (2) including a straight piping portion (2b) having an internally threaded hole (2a) longitudinally extending therealong, and a branch portion (2c) extended from the middle of the straight piping portion (2b), the straight piping portion (2b) standing at one end thereof on the saddle (1), a hole-drilling cutter (3) with a rotating tool detachably connected thereto, and having, at one end thereof, a cutting edge (3b) integrally formed therewith, the hole-drilling cutter (3) having an externally threaded barrel portion (3a) and being screwed into the internally threaded hole (2a) of the straight piping portion (2b) so that the hole-drilling cutter (3) is longitudinally movable, and a cap (5) detachably mounted on the other end of the straight piping portion (2b) of the branching barrel (2) for closing the internally threaded hole (2a).</p> |
