Disclosed is an information processing apparatus for executing a workflow having a plurality of steps (and corresponding method) comprising: flow registration means (6001) for registering the workflow having a plurality of steps; flow management means (6003) for managing a start parameter for indicating a condition for starting each step included in the workflow and an end parameter that is generated at an end of the each step; and determination means (6002) for determining a second step for following a first step based on the end parameter of the first step and start parameters managed by said flow management means (6003).
