PURPOSE: A rubber lip of a shaft seal for an automobile compressor is provided to prevent the leakage of oil and refrigerant in the high pressure part inside a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A rubber lip(110) of a shaft seal for an automobile compressor includes a cylindrical rubber body(111), a rubber-core steel(112), and a lip part(113). The lip part is adhered to the shaft. A backward backup ring(120) is arranged in the back side of the inner circumference of the rubber lip. The backward backup ring maintains the inner structure of the rubber lip and supports a front resin lip(130). The resin lip has an additional lip part which conducts a secondary shielding operation. A front backup ring(140) is arranged in the inner circumference of the front of the rubber lip and the front of the resin lip. The front backup ring maintains the skeleton of the lip part. At least two reinforcing sealing protrusions are formed in the rear inner surface of a basic shielding part. |
