PURPOSE: An IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) based rectifier is provided to be miniaturized by replacing a plurality of thyristors with a one inverter. CONSTITUTION: A first rectifying part(110) changes a three-phase AC power source into a DC power source. An inverter part(120) changes the DC power source from the first rectifying part into an AC power source. A transforming part(130) transforms an AC voltage from the inverter part. A second rectifying part(140) changes the AC power source from the inverter part and the transforming part to the DC power source. A control part controls the rectifying part by detecting the output voltage and output current of the second rectifying part. A driving part(160) outputs a driving signal according to the control command of the control part.
