FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: process of generating a field over a polarisable medium is measured using a dipole-axial installation while passing current pulses. Several functions are created such that they differently depend on fields of electromagnetic induction and induced polarisation. One of these functions is created so as to increase the ratio of electromagnetic induction and induced polarisation compared to DU(t)=öU(t)/öU0, where öU0 is potential difference öU, measured when passing current. The second function is created so as to lower the said ratio compared to DU(t). The third function is created as a combination of time and space derivatives of established field. All functions, including DU(t), obtained in one recording point are inverted. A geoelectric model of the section of the medium is obtained. In the obtained model, polarisability is zeroed for all layers and the field of electromagnetic induction is calculated by solving the direct problem. Wave numbers in the same model are also zeroed and the field of the galvanic component of induced polarisation IP is calculated by solving the direct problem. Change in the galvanic component is evaluated from the area and its geological interpretation is carried out. ^ EFFECT: possibility of quantitative determination of field strength of electromagnetic induction and induced polarisation with small error not more than 0,5 % and provision for long time interval for dividing the field from 1 ms to several seconds, including over sections with low conductivity. ^ 4 cl, 13 dwg |
