摘要 FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in producing piston engines (ICE) running on gasoline and/or diesel fuel. Proposed ICE comprises at least two pairs of cylinders 1, with their pistons 2 linked up via con rods 3 with four crankshafts 4. Every crankshaft 4 is engaged with p.t.o.-shaft 7. Control shaft 8 is articulated with power shafts 10 via worm gears. Said power shafts 10 are articulated with two crankshafts 4. Four crankshafts 4 are articulated in pairs crosswise by means of tie-rods. The latter rotate about the axis of p.t.o.-shaft 4. Said tie-rods allow synchronous displacement of crankshafts through equal distance and symmetric variation of the volume of combustion chambers 11. Crankshafts 4 can rotate thanks to nut-type supports 20 fitted on power shafts 10 with the help of RH and LH threaded joints. Note here that appropriate crankshaft 4 is fitted in opening 19 of each nut-type support 20.
