PURPOSE: Parallel bars for walking exercise are provided, which are equipped with a safety rails and a safety belt and enable the handicapped to do walking exercise. CONSTITUTION: Parallel bars for walking exercise comprise: a bottom part(50) in which a drive unit is inserted; support bars which are built in both upper sides of the bottom part to correspond to each other and in which the drive unit is inserted; vertical rods(20) which are inserted in the inner top of the support bar and are capable of height control; a fixed bar connected to the middle portion of the vertical rod; a combination bar inserted into the fixed bar; a handle rod(40) connected to the combination bar; a rail rod(21) combined with the upper portion of the vertical rod; and a safety rail(10) combined with the rail rod.
