PURPOSE: An automatic cutting apparatus is provided to implement accurate and quick cutting by employing a PLC(Programmable Logic Control) method. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cutting apparatus comprises a frame(100), a supply unit, a transfer unit(300), a cutting unit, a discharge unit, and a control unit(600). The supply unit supplies the leading end of a material through a hole to a cutting position. The transfer unit repetitively transfers a material in a specific direction so that the leading end of the material reaches a reference position to cut the material to the set length. The cutting unit repetitively cuts the specified part of the material through the back-and-forth motion to a side of the material. The discharge unit discharges the materials collected on the top of the frame. The control unit automatically controls the operations of the supply unit, the transfer unit, the discharge unit and the cutting unit.
