METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VIDEO QUALITY MEASUREMENT

PURPOSE: A method and a system evaluating video quality are provided to perform matching of transmitted video and original video for evaluating image quality faster and more accurately. CONSTITUTION: A first encoding unit(120) encodes an original video which will be transmitted to a video receiver. A decoding unit(130) decodes the encoded video. A matching feature extractor extracts feature for matching from the decoded video. An image quality evaluation feature extractor(150) extracts feature for image evaluation form the original video. A second encoding unit(160) encodes the feature for matching and the feature for image quality.
