FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to development of composition of corrosion-resistant alloyed neutron-absorbing steel used in nuclear power engineering as material for protective covers at nuclear fuel transporting and storage. steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, boron, vanadium, cerium, aluminium, titanium and iron at the following ratio of elements, wt %: carbon 0.021 - 0.10, silicon 0.10 - 0.80, manganese 0.10 - 0.50, chromium 13.0 - 16.0, boron 2.01 - 3.5, vanadium 0.05- 0.35, cerium 0.01-0.04, aluminium 0.15-0.8, titanium 4.02-10.0, iron - the rest. ^ EFFECT: raised neutron absorbing quality of steel facilitating its usage at transporting and storage of fuel ensuring nuclear safety under conditions of standard operation and at emergency situations. |
