DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLOCK SYNCHRONIZATION IN RTLS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device and a method for synchronizing a clock in an RTLS system are provided to construct an efficient system without clock synchronization between receivers and simplify the configuration of a position tracking system. CONSTITUTION: A tacking target transmitter(100) outputs a signal including an ID periodically by being attached to a position tracking object, and a reference transmitter(150) outputs a clock synchronization signal periodically according to a control signal. Plural receivers(210-240) respectively receive the signal transmitted from the tracking target transmitter or the reference transmitter. The plural receivers create and output a measurement time stamp and a synchronization time stamp for the reception point.
