NOX REDUCTION CATALYST AND EXHAUST SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A NOx reduction catalyst and an exhaust system using the same are provided to improve fuel efficiency while preventing the slip of hydrocarbon by storing nitric oxide in exhaust gas temporarily and combing the nitric oxide in injecting fuel. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst with reduced nitrogen oxide and an exhaust apparatus using the same includes first and second catalyst layer. The first catalyst layer is adjacent to exhaust gas. The first catalyst deoxidizes a part of nitric oxide included in the exhaust gas through oxidation-reduction reaction with hydrocarbon included in the exhaust gas. The second catalyst layer stores nitric oxide.
